Welcome to the PRISMA Project web site

The PRISMA model allows the definition of architectures of complex software systems. Its main contributions are the integration of the AOSD and the CBSD and its reflexive properties. In this way, it specifies different characteristics (distribution, safety, coordination, etc.) of an architectural element (component, connector) using aspects, and it is able to evolve its architectures by means of a meta-level.

This web site is not going to be updated anymore.

First public release of PRISMACase - Tuesday, December 05, 2006
This is the first public release of the PRISMACase tool, although it remains in an alpha development state. You can download it to see how PRISMA models can be created, compiled and executed through the PRISMANET middleware. However, there are a lot of features to be developed and corrected in order to support the full process in an error-free way.
PRISMACase demo v2 - Thursday, November 30, 2006
Complete demo of the PRISMACase Tool, including the generated control application of the tele-operated TeachMover robot.
5th DYNAMICA Workshop - Tuesday, November 21, 2006
DYNAMICA (DYNamic and Aspect-Oriented Modeling for Integrated Component-based Architectures) is a three-year coordinated project that is going to finish this year. This 5th Workshop brings to the participants the opportunity to share and evaluate the results obtained during this period.
PRISMA CASE demonstration - Tuesday, October 31, 2006
A new demonstration can be downloaded from the web page. This demo shows the complete development process that PRISMA CASE provides. From the modelling stage of an aspect-oriented architectural model to its code generation and execution.
Mobile Agent Case Study Demo in Ambient-PRISMA - Wednesday, October 25, 2006
New Downloadable that shows how Ambient-PRISMANET middleware executes the mobility of an agent.
After a little break on Holidays... - Friday, September 02, 2005
... the PRISMA web site continues its construction, as the PRISMA Project is evolving and more documentation is written.
Distributed movement of the TeachMover Robot - Friday, September 02, 2005
Uploaded a demonstration video (without audio) of how the Teach Mover robot is moved remotely by executing the PRISMA implementation of its architecture.
